A pursuit, late in the Noon hour Thursday, ends without an arrest, but Horton Police are continuing the search for the suspect. Chief Beau Hasenohr says the case began when his office was notified with details regarding the wanted suspect(Play Audio 32 secs)
The pursuit, assisted in part by the Brown County Sheriff's Department, led both suspect, and officers in pursuit, onto Brown County's Horned Owl Road(Play Audio 15 secs)
Hasenohr says the investigation is continuing, and the suspect is actively being sought.
The Police Chief declines to release the suspect's name due to no arrest having yet been made, and no formal charges filed.
The pursuit, ending just minutes after 1:00 in the afternoon, happened just hours into Hasenohr's first day on the job as Horton Chief of Police.
