As part of September’s Kansas Emergency Preparedness Month, the Kansas Division of Emergency Management is hosting two free emergency preparedness webinars Tuesday, Sept. 24.
“Family Preparedness Food Storage,” will be presented from 10-11 a.m. and again from 6:30-7:30 p.m. During this presentation, participants can learn good choices for foods to put in their home emergency kit and techniques for storing them to ensure long shelf life. The presenter is Renee Aldrich, Regional Emergency Services coordinator for the American Red Cross.
