Oskaloosa Trio Arrested on Drug Charges

(KAIR) -- An Oskaloosa trio is in custody on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Perry residence.

On Sunday, Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, along with Officers from The Lawrence Police Department executed the warrant at 5353 Marion Road in Perry, based on information obtained from the Lawrence Police Department.

Several items of property were recovered and narcotics were seized.

Angela Thornton was arrested and booked into The Jefferson County Jail for Possession of Stimulants/Marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Antone Artman and David Allen were both arrested and booked into The Jefferson County Jail for Distribution of Opiate/Narcotic/Stimulant.

They remain in jail awaiting bond and formal charges.
