(KTNC) - The Missouri Department of Transportation is warning people to stay home if possible, or to check road conditions if they have to travel today.
MoDOT’s online Traveler Information Map is available to provide an up-to-the-minute view of road conditions on major highways in Missouri. The map is located online at www.modot.org//northwest.
The Traveler Information Map can also be downloaded as an application and is available at both the iPhone App Store and Android Marketplace.
Road conditions are also available by calling MoDOT’s customer service center at 1-888-275-6636. The toll-free line is answered 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you’d like to see what it’s like to ride along with a MoDOT snowplow driver, the Missouri Department of Transportation has posted a video on You Tube. (www.youtube.com/MoDOTNWDistrict)
