A special ceremony is scheduled at 6:30 PM this Friday before the Troy football teams kicks off their 2012 season with a home game against ACCHS. The field at Troy High School will officially be named the Donald M. Cash, Jr. Football Field. Don Cash was the head coach of Troy football for 19 years and compiled an overall record of 117 wins against 66 losses. He led the Trojans to 10-win-seasons in 2003 and 2004 before stepping down. Cash remained the principal at Troy High School until retiring last spring.
