A 46-year-old Atchison man has a felony aggravated assault charge amended to a misdemeanor Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Robert Bledsoe pled guilty to the amended charge of criminal use of a weapon.
He was arrested by Atchison Police on April 7th after an altercation at a local bar.
Factual basis reports say Bledsoe pulled a fish fillet knife on another individual after a political discussion on whether they were going to vote for or against President Barack Obama got heated.
He will be sentenced on the class A misdemeanor on June 22nd.
