The Benedictine College Music Department will play host to the Kansas State High School Activities Association Regional Music Festival for 1A, 2A, and 3A schools on Saturday.
Over 400 entries from 25 schools from the region stretching from Nemaha County to the KC metro will attend and receive ratings from judges.
Event manager Lois Niemann describes the different performance categories.

The state festival will take place April 28th in Wichita, Salina and Gypsum.
The regional festival will begin Saturday morning at eight on the Benedictine campus and will conclude at five.
