(KLZA)-- The Richardson County 4-H/FFA Junior Fair is underway at Humboldt.
The schedule of events is as follows:
Wednesday July 22 – 9 a-m Horse show; 4 p-m Sheep show followed by Meat Goat show.
Thursday July 23 – 9 a-m Poultry show and Rabbit Showmanship; 1 p-m Rabbit show;
Friday July 24 – 9 a-m Swine show; 1 p-m Dairy Goat show; 3:30 p-m pedal tractor pull and riding mower contest; Also at 3:30 p-m will be the tractor driving operator contest followed by the ATV contest. 6:30 p-m livestock judging contest;
Saturday July 25 – 7 a-m - a-m Ag Society breakfast; 9 a-m Beef show; 3 p-m Round Robin Showmanship; 5:30 – 7 p-m The Richardson County 4-H Council & Falls City FFA Alumni will host the annual barbecue dinner at the AG Building. The cost is $7 per plate. The public can also view the static and animal exhibits at this time. 7:30 p-m Livestock support auction;
Sunday, July 26 – 2 p-m The Fashion Show will feature 4-H members modeling their garments in public. The Awards Ceremony will follow which honors many volunteers, leaders, 4-H members and others.
4-H Council elections take place throughout the Jr. Fair and the Static Exhibits are on display Wednesday through Saturday in the Ag Building.
