Holton Students and Staff Share Presentation with State Board of Education

On Tuesday, September 9th, several students along with Reading Specialist Sarah Newton went to Topeka to share a presentation with the Kansas State Board of Education.  They shared their experiences with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and individualized instruction and how it changed their path which gave them confidence, skills and a vision for what's possible.  In a post on Facebook, the District stated that hearing students tell their own stories was a powerful reminder of what education is all about: walking alongside every learner so they can reach their potential!
