Red Hawks Compete in Forensics!!
Congratulations to the Hiawatha Red Hawk Forensics team who competed Friday Night at the Small School LCQ Tournament at Washington High School placing 3rd overall!
Senior Levi Fleagle placed 3rd in Prose qualifying him for State Champs & State Festival.
Senior Zoey Hedrick placed 3rd in Serious Solo Acting & 6th in Original Oration.
Junior Mark Stroud placed 2nd in Prose qualifying him for State Champs & State Festival, placing 3rd in impromptu speech qualifying him for State Festival, & placing 5th in Improvised Duet Acting with acting partner Lorenzo Sullivan.
Junior Gavin Noll placed 4th in Prose qualifying him for State Festival. Gavin also placed 5th in Original Oration.
Sophomore Lorenzo Sullivan placed 2nd in Humorous Solo Acting qualifying him for State Champs & State Festival. 4th in informative speech qualifying him for State Festival as well as 5th in IDA.
Sophomore Israel Ross placed 2nd in Poetry qualifying him for State Champs & State Festival as well as 4th in Humorous Solo Acting.
Freshman Tori Tawzer placed 6th in Prose.
Tori & Chance Rudder places 4th in Improvised Duet Acting and 5th in Duet Acting.

The Red Hawks perform next on Monday 4/15/2024 at Royal Valley for their last regular season meet before State!
