A husband and wife have filed to run for the same City Council seat in Humboldt. Wednesday morning Heather Schuler filed for the Ward II City Council seat in Humboldt. Wednesday afternoon her husband Ted Schuler filed for the same position.
The race for the Humboldt Ward II seat is getting crowded. Incumbent Crystal Dunecacke filed to run for the seat she was appointed to and J.D. Cooper filed for the same seat earlier.
The race will be narrowed to two in the May primary election. Today at 5 p-m is the last day to file for election and have your name appear on the ballot in Nebraska.
