(KAIR) -- A Leavenworth native will shoot for Olympic gold Friday in London.
Amy Hastings will run in the 10 thousand meter race at 3:25 Friday afternoon on NBC.
Hastings, a 2001 graduate of Leavenworth High School went on to compete at Arizona State where she won an NCAA title in the five thousand meters in 2005.
She qualified for the Olympics by winning the time trials in Eugene, Oregon in June with a time of 31 minutes, 58 point three-six seconds.
