Outdoor Adventure Planned at Indian Cave State Park

(KTNC) - Indian Cave State Park will kick off the spring season with its second annual Outdoor Adventure.  A full day is planned Saturday, April 20, with activities for young and old alike.
 Kevin Holliday is the Superintendent at Indian Cave.  (play audio  :29)
 Other activities include a Raptor Recovery program, archery shooting, and a Dutch Oven Cooking demonstration.  New this year are one-mile and 5K runs.  (play audio   :24)
 Holliday says the run will be held on the park’s asphalt roads.
 There is no charge for most of the events at Indian Cave on the 20th.  There is an entry fee for the Morel Mile and 5-K Run, a charge of $9 for adults and $6 for kids for the fish fry, and small fees of one and two dollars for the horse rides and hayrack rides.  There is also a $5 vehicle entry permit at the State Park.
 In addition to the activities, Holliday says visitors will be able to enjoy the spring colors at Indian Cave.  (play audio   :28)
