Jackson Heights FCCLA Shines at Nationals in Orlando!

This summer, the Jackson Heights FCCLA chapter had the incredible opportunity to compete at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida—and it was truly a trip to remember!

Danny Bottom earned an impressive 4th place nationally and received a Gold medal for his outstanding Lesson Plan Demonstration focused on mental health. Madison Smith and McKenzie Carver also brought home Gold in their Chapter Service Project Display, while Sabrina Streeter, Duke Condo, and Nicole Amon earned Silver for their exceptional work in the same category.

Madison Lawson went above and beyond in her role as a Kansas State Officer, proudly representing Kansas. Isaak Karns also stepped up, serving as an event helper and contributing to the smooth running of the competitions.

Beyond the competitions, students enjoyed unforgettable experiences, including visits to SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and a magical Princess Sing-Along Breakfast.
