Nemaha Central Mass Casualty Drill
Many thanks are afforded to the several agencies involved in the mass casualty drill yesterday. The agencies involved are: Kansas Highway Patrol, Nemaha County KS Sheriff's Office, Seneca Kansas Police Department, Seneca Fire Department, Sabetha Fire Department, Centralia Fire Department RFD#6 , Nemaha County EMS, Sabetha EMS, Axtell EMS, Nemaha Valley Community Hospital & Seneca Family Practice, and Life Star of Kansas Air Medical Services. You all are rockstars!!!
Also, thank you to our observers from the Kansas Division of Emergency Management, Pottawatomie County, Kansas Emergency Management, and Osage County Emergency Management.
Finally, the biggest thank you is to the Nemaha Central Elementary & Middle School and their School Resource Officer, Officer Helm. Earlier this year, Officer Helm came to me with the idea of holding a mass casualty drill at his elementary and middle school. Officer Helm provided countless hours getting everything set up and involving community partners from across the county.
