Officer Lowe Presents the DARE Program at the Hiawatha Middle School

DARE, or Drug Abuse Resistance Education, is a program designed to teach kids about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. DARE officers, like Officer Lowe, visit schools to provide lessons that help students develop the skills to resist peer pressure and make healthy choices.
By learning about the harmful effects of these substances and practicing refusal strategies, students can become empowered to lead healthy and drug-free lives.
