Robert "Bob" Kirkendall, 69, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 6, 2025 at Lincoln, NE. He was born on October 2, 1956 at Falls City to Gary and Thelma (Eickhoff) Kirkendall.

He married Kathy Rowell on August 28, 1982 at Falls City.

Bob was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1974. He then worked with his brother and dad at Kirkendall Oil. He then became employed at RICO Printing, then Mr. Automotive and finally for Armbruster Motor Company, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and was especially fond of all his nieces and nephews.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy of Falls City, mother, Thelma of Falls City, brother Ed and his wife Lisa of Falls City, sisters, Kathy Niedfeldt and her husband Tom of Falls City, Susan James and her husband Brad of Stella, Karie Knobbe and her husband Phillip of Omaha, father-in-law, Lyle Rowell of Falls City, sisters-in-law, Stephanie Bauman and her husband Denny and Heather Thomson and her husband Shawn both of Falls City, nieces and nephews, Joe, Brian and Jeff Niedfeldt, Mallory Kirkendall, Caitlyn Shafer, Colton James, Ellison Convey, Emaleigh Knobbe, Katie Bauman, Hillary Dunn, Chase Thompson, Chloe Fritz, many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Cynthia Kirkendall and mother-in-law, Marge Rowell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5-7:00 PM at the Richarson County Historical Society Ag II Building.
