Marlo Kay Parker "Wassee" was born on June 12, 1977, in Mitchell, South Dakota the daughter of Frank and Nora Jessepe Parker.

She was 48 years old and passed away in Horton, KS on September 17, 2025.

She loved her family very much especially her kids, she was so full of life and forced her way into people's hearts which made her cherished by anyone she ever met.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Nora Ann Pemma Parker, and her husband Marty Paul CoversUp.

She is survived by her children Lindsey Parker, Skye Joe CoversUp, Nyssa CoversUp, Patience CoversUp, Parker CoversUp, and Alice Shuckahoose. Her siblings, Rebecca Parker, Karla CoversUp, Sonny Parker, as well as her father Franklin Parker. Her nieces and nephews Sarah CoversUp, Matthew CoversUp Jr. Kara CoversUp, Tara CoversUp, Farah CoversUp, Kaitlyn Parker, and Nodin Benton. Her beautiful grandchildren Lyana Simon, Alice Simon, Alton Cashman, Raymond Cashman, and Harrison CoversUp.

Services are going to be held at the NAC church house on the Kickapoo Reservation, Sunday, September 21, 2025, and the Burial will be Monday morning followed by a lunch where all are welcome.
