Glen David "Jr" Curtis, Jr., 83, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at his home with family by his side. He was born September 12, 1942 in Holton, KS, the son of Glen David Curtis, Sr. and Buelah Gwendolyn (Scheidegger) Curtis.

Jr proudly served in the United States Army from May 1968 to August 1969 during the Vietnam War and 4 years for Army National Guard.

Jr worked in soil conservation for 19 years starting at the age of 9 operating a bulldozer for his dad. He continued as a bulldozer operator for Ratherts Construction in Nortonville, KS. Jr. worked for Wheeler Hardware farming with them for 25 years. He retired at the age of 75.

He was a member of the Larkinburg Christian Church.

Jr married Linda Mae Krogmann on October 3, 1970 in Wetmore, KS; they celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife Linda of the home; his children, Beth I. Curtis of Topeka, KS, Glen D. Curtis III (Stacy) of Holton, KS and Gary E. Curtis (Elizabeth) of Arrington, KS; 2 brothers, James L. Curtis (Vicky) of Arrington, KS and Gene Curtis (Karen) of Holton, KS and 6 grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan, David, Annaliza, Anthony and Isaac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Buelah Curtis; sister, Glenda Reeves brother Gerald Curtis and granddaughter, Elaine Mae Curtis.

Family will greet friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorial Graveside Service will be at a later date at the Larkinburg Cemetery.
