Mildred "Millie" J. (Rowland) Marrs, 85, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on January 25,1940, in Salem, Nebraska to William Ellis and Estella Elizabeth (Randall) Rowland. On November 15, 1958, Millie was united in marriage to James Marrs also of Salem and made their home in Chanute, Kansas. To this union three daughters, Jeannette, Jamie, and Shona were born. After living in Kansas, the family moved back to Falls City and Salem area where they lived until moving to Omaha in 1967. After her husband death in 1979, Millie moved back to Salem and worked in the Falls City area until moving to Holdrege in 1988. Millie worked as the manager of Erlandson Square Condo Association in Holdrege until 2014 when she moved back to Falls City.

Millie passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the age of eighty-five years, six months, and twenty-five days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Marrs, granddaughter Charlie Stephens, sisters: Hazel Lewis, Annabelle Portrey, and Coradean Wisdom; brothers: William, Charles, Marion "Bud", Lee, Kenneth, and Everett Rowland, and an infant brother Marvin J. Rowland.

Millie is survived by her daughters: Jennette Liberty and husband Neil of Holdrege, NE; Jamie Weddle and husband Don of Falls City, Shona Keslar and husband Wally of Holdrege, NE grandchildren: Nicole (Liberty) Rolling and husband Chris of Omaha, D.A. Weddle of Falls City, Colby (Liberty) Larson and husband Matt of Holdrege, NE; April (Weddle) Urkevich and husband Jeff of Lincoln, Michelle (Weddle) Stephens of Grand Island, NE; James Keslar of Holdrege, NE; 8 great-grandchildren: her sister Linda Hance and husband David of Doolittle, MO; brothers: Walter Rowland and wife Connie of Falls City, Robert Rowland and wife Barb of Sabetha, KS; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Maple Cemetery in Salem, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
