Peggy (Aswegan) Packett 88, of Pawnee City, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams, Nebraska, surrounded by the love of her family.

Survived by her daughters, Doreen Hoben of Adams Nebraska, Joan Roby of Ohia, and Larry Packett of Pawnee City.

Memorial services 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at the First Christian Church/First United Presbyterian Church, Pawnee City, Nebraska with Pastor Ken Tubbesing officiating. The service will be also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend on the Wherry Mortuary/Wherry Monument Facebook page. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may go to the family's choice for a later designation.

Inurnment will be in the Pawnee City Cemetery, Pawnee City, Nebraska with military honors provided by the Air Force Honor Guard, American Legion Post #168 and Pawnee City VFW Dalton-McHugh Post #5289.
