Ronald Eugene Cobb, 83, of Topeka, KS, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Oakley Place in Topeka, KS. He was born October 28, 1941 in Holton, KS, the son of Gilbert Barnard and Dorothy J. (Hickman) Cobb.

Ronald graduated from Holton High School in 1959. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1960 - 1964 aboard the USS Mullany, and in recent years enjoyed attending reunions of sailors who served on that vessel. He worked for over 40 years at Dupont/Flexel, retiring in 2008 as Supervisor.

He was a member of Countryside Christian Church and American Legion Post 421 both in Topeka, KS, and a member of Holton V.F.W. Post 1367.

Ronald married Marjorie A. Lollar on January 23, 1965 in Topeka, KS; they celebrated over 60 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of the home; 2 daughters, Ronnita Shandy (David) of Olathe, KS, and Brenda Diveley (Dean) of Highland, KS; 2 brothers, Gary Cobb (Ruby) of Richmond, MO and James "Jim" Cobb of Woodstock, NY; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Shandy (Allison), Nicholas Shandy (Elizabeth), Marshall Diveley (Brittany), Aisha Mitchell (Jarret) and Stetson Diveley and 7 great-grandchildren, Aspen Shandy, Samuel Shandy, Clara Shandy, Emery Mitchell, Jeremiah Mitchell, Nora-Jane Mitchell and Clayton Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Cobb; sister, Judy E. Webster and a great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Shandy.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Countryside Christian Church in Topeka, KS. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Burial with Military Honors will be at 3:00 P.M. at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
