Samuel Edward Bingham, 91, of Baldwin City, KS, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at Vintage Park, Baldwin City, KS.

Graveside service and burial will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Nortonville Cemetery, with Rev. Robert McGuire officiating. Samuel will lay in state from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2025, at the O'Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville, KS. Memorials are suggested to the Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton & O'Trimble Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Samuel was born July 1, 1933, in Arrington, KS the son of Lee and Martha (Bradley) Bingham. Samuel served in the United States Army. He was a farmer all his life, but he also was a maintenance supervisor and a bus driver for the Valley Falls School District. Samuel was member of the Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church and cleaned the church for twenty-five years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed woodworking and was known as a 'man that could repair anything'.

Samuel married Mary Jeanette Page on May 25, 1952, at the Page home in Nortonville, KS, she survives of the home. He is also survived by a daughter Marilee and Mark Hinderliter, Baldwin City, KS, two sons, Kelly and Chris Bingham, McLouth, KS and Marty Bingham, Tonganoxie, KS, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, three sisters, Esther Hetzler, Joann Whaley, Shirley Praturlon and two grandchildren and a daughter in law.
