David Edward Fitzpatrick, of Winchester, KS, died at his home on January 26, 2025.
A Remembrance Service will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation care provided by the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
David was born on April 3, 1950, in Atchison, KS, the son of Elmer Fitzpatrick and Luella (Fleiner) Fitzpatrick. He attended the Atchison Public Schools and earned a degree as a Electrical Engineering Technician in the 1970s. He relocated to Texas, where he worked for Texas Instruments in the early 70s and worked on the early medical output devices on EKGs. He later sold automotive equipment which led to him being a part owner of Eagle Automotive Equipment in Texas. He was known for being able to sell just about anything to anyone. He later returned to Kansas and worked in the maintenance department for Triumph Foods until his retirement in 2013. He loved going to work and always enjoyed his jobs. David also loved his animals, especially his dog, Deva.
He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Navinskey; his children, David Fitzpatrick, Jr., Lynsey (T.J.) Preather, Michelle Fitzpatrick Walczak; three brothers, Walter, Gary and Howard Fitzpatrick; and three grandchildren, Braxton Preather, Justin Fitzpatrick and Conrad Walczak; a special nephew, Spenser Fitzpatrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings, Annie, Becky, Victor, Sharon and Linda.
