Ronald Lee Clemens was born on September 25th, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas. He was the proud son of Oscar and Lorene Clemens. He had five siblings Joe, Jerry, Sue, Carol, and Judy. Ron married Heidi Clemens (nee Hensley) on May 29th, 1970. They have two sons Kevin, and Brian. Kevin has three daughters, Katie, Maggie, and Audrey. Brian has two sons, Brady and Carson.
Ron enlisted in the United States Navy in 1968 rising to the top of the leadership structure obtaining the rank of E-8, (Senior Chief Petty Officer). He served honorably stateside and overseas, including the following locations: Morocco, Spain, Turkey, Maryland, Texas, and California. On his final tour, he was selected to serve as the highest-ranking enlisted leader at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.
Upon completion of his distinguished military career, he embarked on another 23-year career as
a Special Agent for the Department of Defense Office of Personnel Management. Ron retired in 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed watching his five grandchildren grow into outstanding young adults, rarely missing any of their life activities that included everything from nature walks to highly competitive sporting events. Ron was also an avid golfer and played as often as his schedule would allow. He was the consummate devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and lifelong Kansas Jayhawks fan.
A funeral service for Ronald will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. Following the funeral service will be a burial from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620.
