David Allen Cadue

David Allen Cadue 56, of Topeka, Kansas, beloved brother, father and grandfather, told his last story and began his next journey on January 5, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas.

He began this life on October 19,1968 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jerald Allen Cadue and Gertrude (Goslin) Cadue, both preceding him in death. His brother Tom passed away in 2020.

Dave leaves four children, Jerry Cadue, Cass Cadue, Jewel Cadue, and Sunny Navarro. His grandchildren, Marleigh Knoxsah, David Knoxsah, Mayme Cadue, Harrison Coversup, Julia Gutierrez, and Carlos Cardoza.

We will miss out on the laughter and stories that his brothers, Jim Grandstaff, Mike Melchior, Bill Melchior and his sister JoAnne Grandstaff recall of their youngest brother. His ability to turn any situation into a memorable story with humor and wit will live in our memories with affection. His extended family and friends will feel his loss in Kansas as well as other places he lived in Washington state, Nebraska, Oregon, and Alaska.

Dave went to school in Topeka and in Powhattan, Kansas. He enjoyed helping people and using his skills to repair and reuse broken bikes and household items, showing pride when his work was admired.

There will be no viewing. His family will hold a wake on Friday evening, January 10, at the Kickapoo Mekoskaatikani Community Building, 1073 Falcon Rd, Horton, KS 66439. Burial will occur on Saturday, January 11, morning at Kennekuk Cemetery.
