Cora Belle Lobb, 95, of Nortonville, died Monday, October 21, 2024 at F.W. Huston Medical Center in Winchester.

She was born March 28, 1929 ay Topeka, KS, the daughter of Cleo A. and Beulah Pearl Dennis Pontius. Cora Belle was a 1948 graduate of Valley Falls High School and a 1949 graduate of Stewart’s Beauty College in Topeka.

She owned and operated Cora Belle’s Salon from 1949 until her retirement in 1994. She also worked four years as a Beauty Operator at Linnwood Place in Valley Falls. She was a member of Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church and the Davis- Gibson American Legion Aux #387 of Winchester.

She married Clifford Raymond Lobb on August 10, 1952 at Valley Falls, he preceded her in death on June 26, 2016. Survivors include one daughter, Terrie Beth Lobb, Nortonville, two sons, Gary Lee (Susan) Lobb, Perry, Jerry Wayne (Cheryl) Lobb, Montgomery, AL, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Dean Lobb, two sisters, Evelyn Law and Fern Kidd.

Grave Side Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 25, 2024 at McLouth Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
