Larry R. Eby, 84, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Mayetta, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his home with family by his side. He was born December 8, 1939 in Holton, KS, the son of Arthur E. and Mildred (Wells) Eby.

Larry graduated from Mayetta High School. He proudly served in the United States Army, during the Korean War.

He was a Certified Electrician, working for Union IBEW Local #226.

Larry was a member of the Mayetta Methodist Church, Mayetta Masons and The Eagles Club.

He enjoyed gambling and traveling to Arizona for the winter with his wife, Donna, to visit with family and friends.

Larry married Donna R. Price on July 12, 1963 in Mayetta. She preceded him in death on November 22, 2018; after 55 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mildred Eby and a grandson, Brayden Wyre/Miller.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Joyce Kroll (Dennis), Glenda Tyler (Dirk) and Linda Eby (Tim) all of Topeka, KS; sister, Leetha Smith of Hoyt, KS; brother, Gene Eby of Mayetta, KS; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.

His greatest joy was his family, his wife, kids, grandkids, great-grandkids; extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment for Larry and Donna will follow at the Rossville Cemetery.
