Lizabeth “Liz” Ann Hoffman, 62, of Winchester, Kansas died February 23, 2024, at Heritage Gardens in Oskaloosa, Kansas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS with Fr. William Dun-Derry as celebrant. Burial will follow at Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, KS. A parish rosary will be recited at 9:00AM, Wednesday at the church followed by visitation until the time of Mass. Memorials are suggested to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society or Corpus Christi Catholic Church and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home & O’Trimble Funeral Home who is entrusted with the services. Liz was born on December 28, 1951, in Inglewood, California, the daughter of Ollen “Bud” and Bernadette “Bernie” (Noll) Linss. She attended elementary school in Huntington Beach, California, before her and her parents moved to the Mooney Creek area in 1976. She is a 1979 graduate of Jefferson Co. North High School, Winchester, Kansas. Liz worked for eleven years as a AT&T relay operator early in her career, and loved her time as a radio DJ for Magic 108 FM. Most recently she worked for CPAC billing Veterans, retiring in 2023. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Liz enjoyed cooking, shopping, animals, motorcycle rides, ATV runs, playing card, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She married Marty Hoffman on May 24, 2008, in Nortonville, KS, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2024. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Liz is survived by her son, Joshua (Kayla) Hoffman, daughter, Meridith Hoffman, two grandchildren, Braylon and Andrew Hoffman, sister, Connie Rosenthal, brother-in-law, Philip (Sherri) Hoffman, and Team Liz.

She is preceded by her parents, husband, and brother Robert “Chris” Johnson.
