Roland “Rollie” Fisher, 89, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 15, 2023 at Lincoln, NE. He was born December 22, 1933 at Falls City to Edwin and Carrie (Watton) Fisher.

He married Lois Carlson on September 26, 1955 at Sabetha, KS. She passed away March 9, 2021.

Rollie graduated from Verdon High School in 1952, he excelled at football and track. Following graduation, he worked at the Sabetha Creamery, the service station at Berwick, KS, Verdon Grain Elevator, Coop at Stella, NE, Stella Soil Service all before farming and ranching. He enjoyed raising cattle, tractor pulls, watching football, basketball, attending Three State Stockyards cattle auctions, and visit with good friend, William Knobbe. He won the Nebraska non-irrigated corn yield contest with Prairie Valley 40S at 172.1 bushels/acre in 1972.

Rollie is survived by his children, Jerry, Susan Drayer and her husband Dan, both of Lincoln, Dennis and his wife Cheryl of Hastings, NE, Curt of Falls City, brother-in-law, John Carlson of Sabetha, sister-in-law, Norma Fisher of Falls City, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Darrell and a sister, Elaine Wittrock.

Mr. Fisher has been cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
