Eleanor Louise Hottman, 78, of Horton, Kansas formerly of Whiting, Kansas, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas.

She was born on February 21, 1944 in Burnham, Missouri, the daughter of Guy and Katherine Jones Schmidt. She was a homemaker and helped her parents at their bakery in her earlier years. On April 17, 1976 she married Dallas Louis Hottman in Netawaka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Pirone of Ogden, Kansas and three grandchildren, Joshua Riggs Hartford, Destiny Riggs both of Burlington, Kansas, Courtney Riggs of Ogden, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Eleanor was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Duncan.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Springhill Cemetery in Whiting, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the Eleanor Hottman memorial fund to be designated later. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
