Memorial services will be at 11:00 Saturday, November 24 at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608for Jon William “Bill” Hybskmann, 69, Topeka.  He died in a Topeka hospital August 30, 2018, following injuries sustained in an accident.  The family will receive friends following the funeral service.

Jon was born November 24, 1948, in Horton, Kansas to Glenn and Betty Hybskmann.  He graduated from Horton High School where he was on the football team.   He graduated from Washburn University of Topeka where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Social fraternity.

Jon was a Freemason in the Grand Lodge of Kansas .   He worked in various capacities, including correctional work in Oklahoma and Kansas.   He also loved cooking and worked for some years as a cook for a Topeka rehabilitation hospital.  He was known by friends as someone who was always willing to help them.

Jon is survived by daughter Abbie Thompson, Drumwright, Oklahoma; son, Clifford  (Tammy) Hybskmann, Leavenworth, Kansas; grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Drumwright, OK; Kyle Thompson, Drumwright, OK; Samantha Hybskmann, Topeka; Matthew Hybskmann, Leavenworth, and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Sara (Craig) Chappell, Lawrence, KS, also survives.
