Jeannine (Hoit) Pierce, 84, of Troy, Kansas died Saturday, August 22, 2015.

Jeannine was born on August 15, 1931 in Bonner Springs, Kansas to Earl & Evelyn (Stover) Hoit. She graduated from Turner High School in 1949.

Jeannine is a member of the First Baptist Church and Happy Homemakers Extension Unit both of Troy.

Jeannine married Joseph Pierce, Jr. on August 12, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents,

Survivors include: sons, Tom (Ruth) Pierce of McLouth, Kansas;
Ken (Stephanie) Pierce of Kearney, Missouri;
7 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren;
Brothers; Robert Hoit of Kansas City, Kansas;
Evan Hoit of Lawson, Missouri;
Sisters; Betty Williams of Inola, Oklahoma;
Peggy Howey of Tonganoxie, Kansas;
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

FUNERAL: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 27, 2015
At: First Baptist Church in Troy
Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy
Visitation: family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6-8 pm at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Troy where friends may call after 12 NOON Tuesday.
