Jesse A. Nichols, age 72, of Nemaha, NE, passed away Sunday, August 16, at his home in Nemaha. A funeral service for Jesse A. Nichols will be held Friday, August 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE. burial will follow at the Nemaha Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife Karen Nichols of Nemaha, NE; daughters Kathrena Dettmann (Tim) of Avoca, NE; Kimberly Nichols of Lincoln, NE; Krystal Nichols (Troy) of Johnson, NE; Kandace Nichols of Lincoln, NE; Step-sons Kurt Tanner (Kim) of Nemaha, NE; Kevin Tanner (Christy) of Auburn, NE; eight grandchildren,  twelve brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
