Theresa Agnes (Sayles) Ward, 91, of Wathena, Kansas died Saturday, August 8, 2015.

Agnes was born on October 25, 1923 in Amazonia, Missouri to James and Bertha (Fisher) Sayles. She was a lifelong resident of Wathena.

Agnes is a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Altar Society of the church in Wathena.

She married Harold Ward on November 8, 1947 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2007. Agnes was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Janice Medske in 2005, sisters; Owatanna Mc Larney, Pearl O’Connor, Catherine Radtka, Delores Bradley, brother, Leo Sayles.

Survivors include; daughters; Connie (Richard) Summer of Savannah, Missouri Charlotte (Paul) Hart and Annette (Bill) Benton both of St. Joseph, Missouri Nancy (Lee) Mullins of Troy, Kansas Sons; John Ward of Stewartsville, Missouri Wayne (Danielle) and Richard (Jennifer) Ward both of Wathena, Kansas 10 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
