James Francis Burdiek, 49, passed away on August 7, 2015, at CHI Saint Vincent Infirmary, Little Rock, Arkansas. Jim was born November 16, 1965, in Seneca, Kansas, to Regis and Lucille Burdiek. He grew up on the family dairy farm at Netawaka and attended Wetmore public schools. Jim played football and graduated from Wetmore High School in 1984. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and later as a security guard. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by a daughter, Katelynn DeAnn Burdiek (Sherwood, Arkansas) of the home. He is also survived by his companion Cheryl Harness? siblings Estelle Boeger (Bob), Rose Ann Hladky (Rick), Daniel Burdiek (Marie), Susan Burdiek (Mitch Behymer), Edward Burdiek (Jayme), Amy Hill (Ron)? and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim loved hunting,

fishing, motor sports, football, and family. He was a Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan. Jim always had a smile on his face, never met a stranger, and had a laugh that would carry for miles.
