ELWOOD,KANSAS Benton Carl Killingsworth, Jr., 68, of Elwood, Kansas died Friday, August 7, 2015. Benton was born on May 7, 1947 in Lyons, Kansas to Benton Carl Sr. and Eva (Dalton) Killingsworth. He worked for the Missouri American Water Company for 34 years as a foreman. Benton is a member of the Elwood United Community Church, Masonic Lodge #64 A.F. & A.M. of Wathena, Laborers Local Union Benton married Roberta Meers on May 23, 1969 in Elwood. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roy Killingsworth and sister, Louise Owens. Additional survivors include; daughters;Angie (Craig) Miller Bohnsack of St. Joseph Nichole (Jason) Patterson of Elwood son; Benton Carl (Shelly) Killingsworth III of Lawson, Missouri grandchildren; Lexi Miller, Broedy Patterson, Piper Killingsworth, Gabi Miller, Cade Killingsworth, Bailey Patterson,Tinley Killingsworth brothers; Richard (Lois) Killingsworth of Goessel, Kansas Don (Jo Ann) Killingsworth of Hominy, Oklahoma sisters; Louella (Dick) Lyman of Lenexa, Kansas Janet (Rick) Sisco of Ulysses, Kansas Eva (Jerry) Bonham of Manter, Kansas Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Funeral: 10: 30 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 At: Harman Rohde Funeral Home – Wathena, Kansas Visitation: Family will receive friends Monday evening 6-8 pm at the funeral home where friends may call after 12 noon Monday.
