George E. “Sonny” Jurgensmeier, age 70 of Nemaha, passed away at his home Friday, August 7, 2015.

Survivors include his grandchildren John Hall of Shubert; Noah Hall and girlfriend Rachael of Falls City; Lena Dodge and husband Trebor of Horton, KS; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law JoAnn Dahlenburg of Howe; Debbie and Rich Cox of Howe; nieces Sherry Dahlenburg, Lori Hanger, and Demi Cox; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 12, 2:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will follow in Bedford Cemetery at Howe. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 7:30, and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Services are entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn.
