Shirley Ruth Hedrick, 77, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on June 29, 2015 at the Horton Community Hospital.
She was born on February 13, 1938 in Denton, Kansas the daughter of George and Wilma Chaney Ruffner. Shirley was a homemaker. On May 17, 1963 she married Charles Hedrick in Wichita, Kansas. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two daughters; Tammy Fairbanks of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Penny Chambers of Meriden, Kansas; two half sisters, Virginia Coffman and Sandra both of Topeka, Kansas; numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy McAlexander.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
