Gerald “Jerry” Lee Whiffen, 75 of Du Bois, Nebraska passed away at his home in Du Bois on June 16, 2015.  He was born on October 25, 1939 to Thomas Edward and Ruth Nehoma (Haggerty) Whiffen in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his wife Helen of Du Bois, NE, children; Mike (Patti) Whiffen, Richard (Lori) Whiffen, Ronald Whiffen and Shelly Whiffen, grandchildren, Christina, Ashley, Nick, Devin, Wyatt, Meghan, David, Abbey, David V., Destiny, Rick Jr., Jesse, great grandchildren, Logan, Langden, Aiden, Brook, Brothers, Ralph Whiffen, Tim Whiffen, Sisters, Sherrie, Shirley, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial service 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Officiating Reverend Duane Westing.  Register book will be available on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m.for signing.  Visitation will be one hour before service from 10 a.m.-11 a.m., at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City, Nebraska on Friday, June 19, 2015.  Memorials to family choice.  On line condolence may be left at www.wherrymortuary.com
