Paul “Deany” Hayes, 66, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 12, 2015. He was boron February 2, 1949 at Macon, MO to the late Howard and Betty (Riddle) Hayes.

On January 10, 1970 he married Cheryl Wisdom at Falls City and they were later divorced. He then married Mary Lea Marrs on August 16, 2000 at Falls City.

Deany was raised in Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1969. Following graduation he became employed by Millworks at Falls City and then was employed by the City of Morrill, KS where he also owned the café. He was then employed by Pepsi Co and then by Flying L at Falls City. He retired due to being injured on the job in 1994. He was a member of the Brethren Church at Falls City.

Deany is survived by his wife, Mary Lea of Falls City, son, Scotty and his wife Jessica of Lincoln, NE, daughters, Tonya Miller and her husband Drue of Falls City, Michelle Potter and her husband Stacy of Overland Park, KS, Tanya Dean and her husband Art of Falls City, Amy Kershaw of Arizona, brothers, Leroy and Larry both of Falls City, sisters, Helen Mandery of Falls City, Linda Waggoner of Falls City, Vicky Lowe of Rulo, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael and a sister, Debra Lynn Lear.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Micheal Dean officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

Viewing will begin after 12:00 PM on Sunday.
