Mary Anna Dugan, 77, of Soldier, KS passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Stormont Vail Hospital. She was born January 16, 1938 in Lakin, KS the daughter of George Thomas and Ida Winona (Beaty) McKinney.

Mary graduated from Syracuse High School in 1955 and attended Kansas State University for 2 years. She worked in accounting for KSU several years and for Kansas Corporation Commission for 18 years. Mary was also a farmwife for most of her life.

She was a past member of Syracuse United Methodist Church. Mary was involved in 4-H and Jobs Daughters.

Mary married Richard E. Dugan on April 17, 1961 in Miami, OK. He survives of the home. Other survivors include 2 daughters, Wendy Edwards (Louis) on Netawaka, KS and Barbara Polson (Thad) of Nortonville, KS; 2 sons, Richard Dugan (Michele) of St. George, KS and Kenneth Dugan of Corinth, TX; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Matthew, Sara, Kyle, Heather, Gavin, Spencer, Grant, Kennedy and Nicholas and 4 great-grandchildren, Alex, Lily, Gage and London.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julia May Dugan; and infant son, Michael A. Dugan; her parents; a sister, Etna Morgan and a brother, Darrell McKinney.

Mary enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening and watching her grandkids activities.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the Holton Cemetery.
