LINDA RAE FITZGERALD-SIMONEAU

TOPEKA- Linda Rae Fitzgerald-Simoneau, 49, of Topeka, KS passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Meriden after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease. She was born December 22, 1965 in Mayetta, the daughter of William F. and Alma (Ray) Fitzgerald.

          Linda graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1984. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Washburn University and her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Kansas State University.

          She was an elementary teacher for Valley Falls and Seaman Schools.

          Linda married Mark Simoneau, they later divorced.        

          Survivors include a son, Colton Simoneau of the home and a brother, Rich Fitzgerald of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Fitzgerald.
