Ronald “RW” Sailors, 79, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 27, 2015 at Falls City. He was born June 6, 1935 at Barada, NE to the late Marvin and Merle (Stokes) Sailors.

On August 13, 1955 he married Sandra J. Stednitz at Falls City. She passed away February 1, 2013.

RW was raised in Shubert and graduated Shubert High School in 1953. Following graduation he moved to Harlem, GA and worked for Western Electric. When married the couple established their home in Harlem and moved back to Falls City in 1956 where he worked for Nelson Merz and then became employed by International Harvester until 1972 when he started Tri-State Motor & Equipment. He has operated that business since. Ron had been a member of Falls City Elks Lodge for 53 years.

RW is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Kirkendall and Kim Bechtold both of Falls City, sons, Randy and his wife Barb of Falls City, Kevin and his wife Sherry of Dallas, OR, brother, Gary and his wife Ann of Agoura Hills, CA, sister, Marjorie Sailors of Falls City, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

A private commital of ashes will be held at Harris Cemetery.
