Cassie Westpfahl, 71, of Independence, MO died Sunday, January 4, 2015.  

She was born January 7, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Gale N. and Ethel Nasman Fulk.  She graduated from Robinson High School with the class of 1963.  She attended Draughn Business College and worked as a secretary/clerk for an insurance company.

She is survived by two sons; Eric and Kim Westpfahl of Divide, CO, and Mike and  Robin Handley of Fromberg, Montana, and a sister Larane Fulk of Overland Park, KS.

Family visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to services on Friday, January 9, 2015.  Funeral Services are planned for 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha, KS.  Interment will follow at the Claytonville Cemetery southeast of Hiawatha.

Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater Kansas City and may be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S. 7th St.  Hiawatha, KS  66434.
