Beverly Jean Hoffman, 78, of Nortonville, KS passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Village Villa Nursing Home in Nortonville.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the O’Trimble Funeral Home, 329 Main St., Nortonville, KS. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Nortonville Cemetery. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Beverly was born on December 5, 1936 in Valley Falls, KS, the daughter of Clayton E. and Gertrude M. (Blake) Bomhoff. Beverly graduated from Valley Falls High School and she and John ‘Jack’ C. Hoffman were married on August 22, 1954 in Valley Falls. Beverly worked as a receptionist for many years for Dr. Willard Madison and later, Dr. Michael Jones. Most recently, Beverly had worked for the Village Villa Nursing Home and the City of Nortonville. Beverly was a member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church where she was the organist and pianist for numerous years. Beverly was also a member of the Progressive Club in Nortonville.

Beverly is survived by three sons, Marty (Liz) Hoffman, Mooney Creek Community, Winchester, KS, Mark Hoffman, Nortonville, and Philip (Sherri) Hoffman, Nortonville; brother, Randy Bomhoff, Topeka; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty years, John ‘Jack’ C. Hoffman on November 18, 2004; a daughter, Dawn Michelle Hoffman on January 20, 1955; a sister, Barbara Bomhoff.
