Richard M. Alden, age 81 of Auburn, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.

Survivors include his beloved Willa Jean Stutheit Alden of Auburn; daughter Kimberley and husband Robert Stafford of Omaha; son Rich and wife Ann Alden of Auburn; grandchildren Cady and husband George Jackson, Reid Alden; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Rita and husband Robert Seyler of Omaha; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service will be Monday, January 5, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Auburn Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 4:00 to 6:00. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Auburn.
