Doris J. Anderson, 74, of Holton passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Stormont Vail in Topeka.
She was born June 20, 1940 in Hiawatha the daughter of Franklin “Sparky” and Margaret M. (Bacon) Mosher.  She graduated from Whiting High School in 1959 and worked at Slimaker Dress Factory, Sears and was an office assistant at Holton Hospital for many years.  She attended Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.  On June 25, 1960 Doris married Gerald “Jerry” Lee Anderson in Whiting.  He preceded her in death on July 26, 2012.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Huerter (Joe) of Topeka and Natalie Johnson of Topeka; her brother Melvin Mosher (Wilma) of Odessa, MO; her 4 grandchildren, AJ Huerter, Nathan (Kala) Huerter, Collin Huerter (Alexis Lundy) and Natasha Johnson (Jeff); and her 3 great-grandchildren, Kendall, Emma & Amelia.  In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her grandson Anthony Huerter and 3 brothers, Max, Marvin and Charles Mosher.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment will be in the Holton Cemetery.
