Anna Ruth Domann, 90, of Hiawatha, KS died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at the Maple Heights Nursing Home, Hiawatha, KS.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, Nov. 12th, 2014 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS with Fr. Gabriel Landis, OSB officiating.  Burial will follow in the Corpus Christi Cemetery.  A parish rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, 2014 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Anna Ruth DuBois was born on Jan. 14, 1924 in Winchester, KS the daughter of John and Chloe (Martin) DuBois.  She went to Thornburg country school and graduated from Winchester Rural High School in 1942. Anna was a farm wife and loved sewing quilts and reading.

She was married to Andrew “Andy” Domann on Oct. 27, 1951 at Corpus Christi Church, Mooney Creek.  Mr. Domann proceeded in death on March 23, 1990. Her parents, a brother Dale DuBois and two sisters, Olive DuBois and Edna DuBois preceded her in death.   Survivors include two nieces, Janice Gibbons, Robinson, KS., and Jeannie Goff, St. Peter’s, MO. and a host of nieces and nephews, great – great great- and great great great nieces and nephews.
