Phyllis Jean Ary, 82, of Everest, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Vintage Park in Hiawatha, Kansas.

She was born on October 17, 1932 in Everest, Kansas. She worked for TWA as a Reservationist prior to go to work for Burlington Northern Air Freight as an office Clerk where she retired. Phyllis was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Everest, Kansas, PEO, enjoyed playing bridge, games, playing the piano and sang in the church choir. Phyllis married John Ary on October 13, 1959 in Kansas City. He passed away on July 2, 1974. Survivors include a son, Michael (Deanna) Ary of Weddington, North Carolina; two grandchildren, John Michael and Jessica Ary. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Everest, Kansas. The family will greet friends on Sunday, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Friends may call after 12:00 noon on Sunday. Burial will be at the Miller Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Youth Trip and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
